Default How can I achieve maximum signal out of my interface?

Hi,

I want to route the DI guitar track I recorded in reaper to exit my audio interface (behringer 404) at maximum 100% strength. I think I am supposed to bypass the master fader but or something like that...

Is there a step by step tutorial to achieve maximum signal coming out of the interface?

Lets say your master out is connected to outputs 1 and 2 of the Behringer.

Connect the reamp chain to output 3 and in routing for track set a new hardware out to out 3 and untick the master parent send. Have the track fader at default (unity)

If you route directly to a new hardware out your track is not going via the master.

But to be clear this is unity gain..not the same thing as maximum signal. If you need more or less level hitting your external hardware there is no harm in using the clip gain on the DI track or the track fader to adjust, just be sure not to clip the output.

I see, I was under the impression that unity gain= maximum signal strength. I am currently trying to reamp, and if I use unity gain, I am only getting about 75% of the live guitar signal.
