Default How to convert a sub-project to a project

Have no clue how this happened, but, I must have moved a directory.. Reaper asked me to locate the files and when I did, it for some reason, made it a sub project.

How would I convert this back a project? Just a save as?

You must be more specific. What did you try to achieve? What did you do to try to to achieve that and how does it look like right now(a screenshot would be helpful as well).
So we know, how exactly it is currently.

Cause I'm not sure, if you mean, you saved the project into the wrong folder or if you accidentally imported a project into another project by somehow dragging and dropping it into an opened Reaper.

I had two projects open in tabs.. on starting Reaper to continue working on the projects, the first tabbed project could not find the files error showed up. I pointed to the directory and then it became a sub project of the second tab.

Neither projects were sub projects before. Each were similar, just different keys.

I tried "save as" but that doesn't work. Since it was only midi at that point, I just saved the midi out, deleted the project, and started it over.

How it happened or what I did really shouldn't be an issue, I would think. If there is a process of converting a sub-project to a project, that would be good knowledge on it's own.

All I am doing is building some backing tracks to practice with..(for guitar)

thanks!
