Volume fader in transport
I would like to request a short vertical fader in the transport that when you click on it, opens a nice size vertical fader on top of it for master volume.
Thanks !!!

Would still be a nice feature like Cubase does.

Seems a bit awkward to me that I have to click once to get a fader in a pop-up. But if you make that button a knob, then great.
Ok, again (to acoid confusion): the idea is that the transport gets a volume knob. But as this is a bit fiddle clicking on it will reveal a fader in a pop-up.

Just like cubase would be fine with me but a pref would be nice to allow a click to open a larger one.

It wouldn't evn have to be a pop up, just a master in transport ( thought transport in reaer is not very tall). Or it could be taken one step further and next to master volume, currently selected track controls could show up.

That's how I remember it working in Cubase and it worked great for me. It's nice how the larger version pops up allowing fine control.

Why not create a Toolbar button that opens the "Floating Mixer Master"?

Takes too much screen for me personally but it is an option. I'd much prefer a pin on the master track in the tcp.

2 clicks + drag, vs single drag, I think that's why.

Why is it two clicks to click on the Toolbar?
And you can create one click to open or close it.

Click on the toolbar, to bring up the master, move mouse to drag the fader, then move it back to either toolbar or masters X to close it.
And btw. This is how you think of UI when you are designing one.

I'm not a fan of that approach at all. Logic and Garageband have it as well and I'm constantly worried that it's going to be adjusted accidently.

A right click pin on the TCP master fader is all I would need.

Agree.
"Do not touch master fader !" if it is not really really needed...

I think there is a lot of more urgent things to do, but if that feature would be added at some point, I wouldn't mind.

Hey, I just watched your item properties video series and they were great. I learned so much. I'll buy you lunch when the plague is gone. You da man.
