Kontact keeps loading on new track

Hello everyone. Recently, every time I open a new track Reaper automatically attempts to load it with Kontakt 5 without me requesting it. I cannot work out how to stop this. Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks in anticipation, Henry.

Reaper 5.965
Kontakt 5.8.1

You've saved a default FX chain with Kontakt in it. Open up the FX dialog on a new track, delete the Kontakt VST then FX -> Save chain as default for new tracks
