Default Power Tech DSP-FX DX in Reaper 64Bit

Is it possible to use the 32Bit DSP-FX DirectX - plugins in Reaper x64 ?
So far I haven't managed to make them show up in the fx-list .

/ BOne .

DX dont always show up in 64bit. They do in 32 bit. I too am a Sonar refugee and while some of the DX stuff DOES work in 64bit, a lot of the older stuff like these doesnt seem to bridge properly.

Be worth doing a 32 bit portable install of reaper and seeing if it works, then at least you can make an objective decision as to whether or not they are worth the faffing around.

I still have my original Sonar 3 pro installed AND the new Bandlab thingy but frankly havent been using either enought to explore this sort of stuff.

While I completely agree with ivansc and so I do NOT recommend to use the following, you can install:
https://www.xlutop.com/buzz/zip/dxshell_v1.0.4b.zip
Just copy dxshell.dll and dxishell.dll to your VST folder.

Note that you need these files and not (!) x64 files. So the chain will work as DX (32bit) -> VST (32bit) -> (REAPER own bridge) -> REAPER (64bit).

I repeat, if you really need 32bit DX with 64bit VSTs within one project, running REAPER 32bit and so bridge 64bit VSTs is probably more stable then above solution.

Also note that DX FXes with side-chain support are crash prone in REAPER.
