Default Automation wirte to next Point

When mixing with a control surface, I miss a lot the following automation write to command:

Automation: Write current values for actively-writing envelopes from cursor to NEXT POINT

Together with the already existing..

Automation: Write current values for actively-writing envelopes from cursor to first touch position

..it would make tweaking already existing automation much faster.

Often you need to have different levels for different sections in a song.
Once you automated them, you may need to change and tweak them. So you have already a point at the beginning and end of each section (or maybe you don't, because you make perfect decisions. But I need to do that a lot..)

You put everything in latch, go to the place where you want to start changeing, move your fader to the new level and hit the two commands above. Your done. You can move to the next section in the song.

Would be much faster, than always doing a time selection first with the mouse and hitting the: Automation: Write current values for actively-writing envelopes to time selection. Especially when you need to change a lot of different sections, different "time selections" if you want. It avoids using the mouse for that process at all.

when recording automation movements, we currently need use the mouse to set up the conditions by which it will work (setting up a time selection in order to run suffix actions to write automation) and then use the mouse again (to trim unwanted automation content recorded ahead of the play cursor, or to fix envelope content broken by the "write currently actively-writing envelope" actions).

that's a lot of mousing just to use a feature that should be mouse free.
