Default CSI: TrackOutPutMeter VUs are too low

Hi there,

My XTOUCH has single VUs (so not stereo), so I am using `VUMeter| TrackOutputMeterAverageLR` in my Channel zone.

Even with just "TrackOutputMeter" this same problem exists.

The problem is that the meters are too weak. They barely blip and flash every now and then. I can tell its "working" because if I crank up a track it does eventually show solid on the VUs.

With Moss, and Klinke and Default extensions, the VUs all look better.

What controls the "power" of the VUs? Is there some kind of multiplier?

Thanks!

You can try limiting the possible range but I'm not sure how well this will work:

Code:
VUMeter| TrackOutputMeterAverageLR [ 0.0>0.8 ]
Or possibly [ 0.2>1.0 ]

But again I dont know if that's the answer, it doesn't seem like you should have to do something like that.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. I wasnt sure if CSI takes "arguments" or "parameters" like that. I'll give it a try, thanks!

Just a head's up too - I'm not sure Geoff monitors the forum for other CSI threads. If you do think there's a bug at play here, you may want to pop into the main CSI thread and post there. I honestly use the LED's on my X-Touch One as basic "signal indicators" and never tried to figure out how accurate they were.

Ok cool, thanks, I'll do that.

It's definitely something *wrong* and not an accuracy issue. They are really low, sometimes not registering at all, even at times when you look up at the screen and they should be in the yellow.

However, that something wrong could be a bug, or my setup. But I'm 99% out of the box at this point.

Thanks
