You are probably thinking of the Linux Studio Plugins Project, which is here.

https://lsp-plug.in/

The True Stereo Impulse Reverb is about the only one in the suite that I've found useful for my own productions.

It might be. I will have to get some time to boot up my old closet pc and will let you know... thanks for the 'stereo plugin' tip.

Here is the site:https://www.audiopluginsforfree.com/linuxsampler/

Default Tonelib 4.0

I like Tonelib GFX so much that I immediately paid for the 4.0 version. However, in Linux Mint, I have tried to uninstall the previous version and install the new one, but nothing happens. When I load the plug in Reaper, I am still using the previous version. What do I need to do?

Great software!

Default Tonelib GFX 4.0.1 Drag and Drop

The latest version of Tonelib GFX has some interface issues in Reaper Linux. I used to be able to drag icons for amp models and effects from the right hand display directly into the effects chain. That doesn't work anymore. It is still possible to click on the middle of a cell in the effects chain to trigger a popup menu to choose from, but this is also a little flakey. It still sounds good, however.

I posted a bug report about this a month ago on the Tonelib site, but got no response. Is anyone else having this problem?

I am running Linux Mint 18.3.

I haven't any issue on Debian 10, last ToneLib works as expected in Reaper 5.99.

I know it is not Tonelib GFX but have any of you tried this Guitar JS Plugin it seems to have good reviews all around.

That link doesn't work for me, but it looks like you are asking about mrelwood's AmpEra. I like ToneLib a little better, but AmpEra is a nice little plugin, very interesting to play with. The sliders for amp type and speakers are quite innovative.

By the way, the new version of ToneLib, 4.1.0, seems to have solved the interface problems I posted about above.
