I'm using Pipewire on Arch as a PulseAudio replacement, and it's working great with a much better latency than the original PulseAudio.

Pipewire-Jack requires a restart after waking up the computer from suspend to RAM, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm using PulseAudio, so I can get sound from other software while the DAW is open.

For recording, I'd still go with Alsa directly for minimum latency.

And PulseAudio (PipeWire) + EasyEffects way more lower latency than the old PulseEffects
When intalling it, install both Zam and the other one (should popup as a choice) can be used as plug-ins also.

If pipewire users could post examples of whatever text config files pipewire needs, and screenshots of any gui settings panels available, it would be a big help to me. @Tobbe: thanks for sharing your experiences!
