First things first: Try the plugins

These plugins are non-profit.
Help to get things even better by:
- Post in this thread, if you have problems with the plugins
- Post also, if you find bugs and/or strange behavior in the plugins
- Post wishes and requests
- Post presets (rpl-files) if you make some
...
- And of course: Post nice words if you like the plugins

Thank you! Tukan

Thanks my friend Tukan for sharing them so quickly, I did not expect this, so you surprised at least me. Thanks 1000 times extra, just for this reaction, independently of any plugins. This is the Reaper sharing way, thanks a lot. Now we can dive into those plugins, continuing the sharing network where the deep Reaper power is sourced (beside the original devs of course). No devs, no nothing.
Like Steinzeitdaw (Cubase) or Krüppelmididaw (Ableton Live).

If you have stable versions,it would be great if you upload them to be used by ReaPack.

And ReaPack can display and manage a searcheable description, so they can easily be found !!!

Thanks a lot,
-Michael

I hope I can manage to make the plugins available in reapack.
There is something about connecting reapack to github, new packages are checked/reviewed before they are available etc...
Let's wait a little while what people say about the plugins

Compressor 2: Attack and Release knobs are not displayed on my computer. (win32 in wine, linux)
Or is it better for you adding issues directly in github, not cluttering this space for such minor things.

You can use your own git repository or you can use the Reaper community git. For the community git you simply can upload your code via the website provided for this.

Congratulations on the release!

Here are some bug findings:
  • AC Trem: Wet Solo leads to sound oscillation (Tremolo & Reverb Off).
  • Compressor 2: APISmall.png for attack and release is not loaded.
  • Delay Machine: Adjusting the Time parameter when the transport is stopped plays back audio material that is still in the delay buffer.

All parameter adjustments that involve delay are very abrupt. I think the implementation of a fade (?) or similar would be good to smooth out such adjustments.

Anyway. Good release! Thanks for your effort.

Thank you bug finders

First thing is simple:
Go to folder "MODgui" in the "Tukan" folder, copy APISmall.png to the "TKCC2" folder.
By doing so, replace the existing APISmall.png there.

Reload your "Compressor 2" - Attack and release should be visible then.

This was an issue cause by the upload. I already fixed that on GitHub.

OK, AC Trem won't oscillate itself any more, Delay Machine buffers are now being cleared correctly.

You can use the attached zip and replace the files "AC Trem" and "Delaymachine" in your Tukan-folder with its content.

I did so on github.
(As usual, you could reinstall the whole thing from github to eliminate the bugs instead...)

Tukan I'm seeing me using these daily, especially the reverbs and the comps and I really like your guis. Maybe you can consider taking donations in the future. I would certainly donate something. Kind regards

Man! These are absolutely top notch! The 1176 "punch" mode is killer, also the low end in your Pultec emu! EDIT: almost forgot about the tape delay, omg! Just everything is fantastic, thanks!!!!
Some quirks/bursts in the reverb but einem geschenkten Gaul shout man nicht ins Maul, right?

Where did you learn coding, it's unbelievable!?

with eqt-1a I noticed some loud clicks somehow dependent on the input (volume ) material. (both in 44.1 and 48)

To reproduce: put eqt-1a on an audio track in stock settings and turn Reaper's delta feature on and listen for loud clicks or see how the volume on the right makes some jumps.

I'm on mx linux 21 64 bit

Edit: I'm having trouble loading EQ1.1 maybe some missing library and this is related (I downloaded from github)

As a cosmetic feature request:
This is highly subjective but sometimes I find reaper's jsfx meters too distracting and would have no problem if they weren't present in expgate 2 and compressor 2 or you would exchange them with your own meters.

Hi Nixon!
Yes, it's cosmetic. I thought most people would need these meters for their gain staging.
If you want no meters, you can do that yourself:
In the plugin window click "Edit...",

behind the slider-lines that go
slider...
slider...
...

insert this line:
options:no_meter

Save the plugin code again (CTRL+S)
Your meters are turned off then.

Aloha!

Default TUKAN PLUGINS NOW ALSO ON REAPACK

It took me a long night and the day until now, but:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Tu...ain/index2.xml

Import this repository in ReaPack and you'll find all the plugins there.

All updates, bugfixes and stuff can be done by reinstalling the plugin from ReaPack.

Don't worry, if you have put the plugins in "Effects/Tukan/" as I recommended, ReaPack will use the same place for Tukan-Things.

In gain for NC76 needs correction:

Code:
slider7:0.79<0,4,0.01>-IN GAIN

BTW NC76 has a ~10dB volume spike when inserting or when you press play in transport. I have not tested all plugins, but I would recommend to check the plugins for possible spikes and clicks. I already mentioned clicks for delay-based adjustments.

PS: Wow, jetzt auch noch ReaPack. Man, du klotzt ja ran. Aber überarbeite dich nicht. Ab und zu braucht der Mensch auch ein bischen schlaf <3

Ah, okay... why? What does is correct?

I'm gonna have a look at boost behavior in NC76 soon...
Some clicks when turning knobs are difficult to get rid off. These are caused by sudden gain/phase changes in the audio section of the plugin. But the changes must happen in order to change things

Clicks and bursts just while playback/stop should of course not happen...

NC76: 0.79 IN GAIN corrects the level difference between wet and dry. More precisely a volume drop of 6dB.

Of course, with delay based parameters there is a click/glitch/etc when you change the parameter, and input & output samples differ. Especially if the plugin works with zero latency. That's why I referred to fades. However, I am an absolute layman. Maybe someone here in the forum has a better method to smooth out such artifacts.

A few more findings:

PreAmp: Why does the Init preset boost by +6dB, shouldn't it have 0dB input boost by default? So:
Code:
slider1:-6<-6,24,0.1>-Input (dB)
Compressor 2: -12dB as Threshold preset is ok, but displayed Thresh Knob value does not match actual threshold.

I'd be happy for some help smoothing out the delay-parameters

As for the other knobs: I'll check that later. But just so much: the slider values in db you find in the slider-section of the code do often not match to the actual state of what the plugin is doing. Sometimes I made offsets somewhere in the code, or even scalings. Or both. ...but I'll check the levels, promised!

GREAT !!!!!
Many thanks.

I just tested the reverbs and they are fantastic !
Just a request:

pretty please do create a ReaPack compatible description within the code of all plugins, so that they are easily findable and usable for those who don't already know them or read the the Forum thread.
Thanks again !

Default zeno was right

Dear Zeno, dear all

The bugfinder no.1 was right... here are the news:
NC76 now starts with neutral levels.
NC76 has no burst any longer on play-start
PreAmp now starts at 0dB by default (as a matter of taste...)
Compressor2 is now labeled correctly
(this, infact, was nothing about the code: The graphics were labelled wrong. -32 / 2 = -16 ... not -12 )

You can get the fixes via reinstalling on ReaPack or manually download and replacing the following files:
TKCC2gui/TKcc2Back.png
NC76 (Tukan)
PreAmp (Tukan)

Tank you, Zeno!

if i paste the contents of REJJ-v1.0.12 to the tukan folder (one folder up) it works. maybe some linux filepath thing.

some things i noticed:
- eq1.1 has the spectrum display set to the right channel by default
- eq1.1 uses a lot of cpu on my machine 13 %

big thanks again for your plugins
