Default Serious problems with .mp3

Hello developer,
I am using Reaper for audio production, and I have encountered a problem with the mp3Render function. When rendering two identical mp3 files with the same encoding and data through ReaperRender, there is a slight sound remaining which makes it impossible to invert track polarity/phase. I am wondering if this is due to the codec, or if it is a bug that can be fixed.

Are you saying that if you render the same source to mp3 twice, and take those two files into a new project and null test them, they do not null?

That does not happen here. The two (320 kbps) mp3-files null perfectly (-inf).

If you have plugins that introduce randomness, like many reverbs, then of course they two files will not null due to that randomness.

No, no, no
I didn't run the file twice, I rendered it once, and the rendered file was compared with the original mp3 file, and then you can listen to the sound and there's no way to cancel it out.

Because the mp3 can get peaks over zero during the conversion process coming into reaper your best bet is convert the mp3 to a wav first. Import that into reaper by simply dragging it on to the track. Then export that as a wav and they should be the same and null.

I would not expect rendering an mp3 to another mp3 to produce sample-identical results. It's a lossy format, and codecs vary.

OK, thank you. Qishi, I don't think it makes sense either. It's just that someone in our forum is discussing this issue.
In addition, I found a problem with a mp3 encoder, and I replaced it manually, because I found that the libmp3lame.dll file version 3.9, the latest I saw on the official website is 3.10, are you an official, can you replace it, although I don't know what the new version is useful.
I can provide the address.
The latest version 3.100 is updated in 2017
Https://www.rarewares.org/files/mp3/...e-3.100x86.zip
Https://www.rarewares.org/files/mp3/...e-3.100x64.zip
.dll is inside.
