Ozone 10 takes forever to load
Hi Everyone,
I just bought the Ozone 10 standard. I'm on latest version 6.79 WIN 10 and I have an I9 20 core 48g of RAM and I have to wait almost a minute to load up an instance of the plugin. and if I close it and need to re-open it still takes 10-20 secs....
I've tried all the different RUN AS options and also the compalibilty options...
Anyone having this issue also?
Thx, Jeff

mac
Mac M1 Ventura, Ozone 10 AU loads (add to effect insert slot) very quick, no time to wait.
Also opening a project where Ozone is active inside takes no time.

I did have the same problem, same with Neutron 3 too. I tried vst3 and vst2 versions and had the same result. I also had the same issue in Ableton, so its not a Reaper bug. Izotope support could offer no explanation, but there were other people complaining about it on reddit.
After several sessions of deleting and reinstalling the plugins, I gave up and just lived with it, then it eventually started working fine. I have no idea why.
Sorry cant be any help to fix it, but you're not the only one this has happened too, and Izotope seemed to be in denial about it.

Only running them for a couple of months on this old laptop. I was running them on my Win 10 desktop for a few months, and don't recall having any issues on that rig (but I've been away from that box for over a year and my memory's not that great.)

Lol, I can totally relate about memory.. mine I'm running on a desktop but it crashed yesterday when I made some adjustments to the boot up and now a PC tech has it and he's going to do a fresh install and hopefully clean out the bugs.. if I get any change I'll let you guys know (;
