Agreed. I'm wondering how it's possible that WT created such a cool theme like this Imperial one, then kind of whiffs it on the V6 Default theme.

The mixer can be used on big screens only. WT is making a theme for a regular user, not someone who has a big monitor.

Same here.

I've used a lot of themes, including Imperial V4 for quite a while, but the legibility and usability of the default theme (with a few colour tweaks) is what I always come back to. It might not look sexy, but it's easy to drive.

How do you get your script changes to stick next time you open reaper?

Do you mean script changes like the ones made with the new theme adjuster? The theme itself has a set of define_parameter lines in the rtconfig file. When you use the theme adjuster script, it writes the new parameter values to the reaper-themeconfig.ini file in the root of the Reaper resource folder. Then when the given theme is loaded into Reaper, those parameters are read from the ini file and will become effective.

Please note, I might have misunderstood both what you meant and how it actually works...

I think these API additions from the v5.972pre2 are related to this:
# API: add ThemeLayout_SetParameter(), ThemeLayout_GetParameter(), ThemeLayout_RefreshAll() for use with define_parameter lines.

Not sure if you're talking about colour tweaks?

If so, I save it as a new theme.

For the V6 Default: Is there a way to make the TCP not all jumbled depending on the width with indents... I mean some themes line everything up vertically no matter the folder indent... and can we always get horizontal meters, also all aligned... vrtical meters on TCP really upset me...

I would ask in the main forum but scared to get bashed
