My EP of short ambient works, Midnight on a Digital Sea, was released today. Pieces were composed in Reaper and Studio One and mastered in Reaper. Hope you enjoy it.

Just been listening to your ep - was looking forward to it after listening to your other tracks. Sounds are great and create a nice atmosphere - I like the fact the pieces are short - keep up the good work!

Thank you, Steve
Some very nice tracks here, with carefully crafted moods, textures, and compositions.
I enjoyed the short lenght if the tracks, it's a fresh take on the "ambient genre"...

I like it quite a lot! May I ask which instrument(s) you used for "The Weight of Light"? It reminds of the Solaris soundtrack – which obviously was recorded using the ANS only, so I'm curious how those evolving glassy overtone pads came together in 2018 (:

sinkmusic, thank you for listening! I have wanted to try working in a shorter format for a long time. It's been fun and interesting.

beingmf, the glossy distant pad was Synthmaster 2, the closer "dusty" sounding synth was a TAL sampler patch of Empty Vessel's, the bright pitched tones was Spectral, and the last sounds, the back and forth "bird" type sound and the synthetic echo was Synthmaster 2 and Tronsonic's System 1000M respectively. Everything was tuned to 11 edo for this piece.

Each one of these was lovely.

For some of them, I wished they continued longer (4 and 5 especially).

Great stuff!

Thank you for listening! I hear you about the length. This time around, I was focusing on postcard pieces.
