LOTS of new songs up!

But please

I beg of you:

Send mp3's

Send stashbox links. It gets unfun fast to go to your garageband.com page, then to the artist page, then to the songs page then to the download song page

and if you can, submit Artist Name - Song Title (via forumname)

Name it exactly how you want it.

Just listened to Gregg Hooper's Variations off Friday night(hope I got the name right)
That was some cool weird stuff.
Always been a big fan of the weird stuff.

Is this up at the moment? Tried to listen (2:58 CST) and Winamp loads, says it finds the site but nothing plays.

just submitted my 1st track today - it's a bit 'demo' in sound quality at the moment, but if you want to hear something with a bit of an ambient-80's-electrofunk vibe to it then have a listen... I'll keep the track online for a few weeks:

http://www.southfacing.info/stuff/Bughunt_Archie.zip

(just one mp3 zipped up - 5mb)

Is it all this good?

Here you go!

Blueprint For Disaster - Domination Through Amplification (Via JasonTheron)

I actually need to do some further mastering to tame the low end on this but it's good enough for right now.

Default No sound :(

Hi

Is the radio only playing at certain hours, or is something wrong at my side? The player on the page don't play or list anything, but VLC gives me a band and songname, but still no sound though

Great vocals and overall a pretty nice recording but the kick sounds like someone buried the mic in a pile of sandbags.

Quad 405 to Tannoy system 600s in a decent but small room, and the bottom end whoof is all I get.

Not wishing to bring you down, just the best description of the only shortcoming I could hear on my system.

Be interested to see what you think.

Default Thud and Blunder music

Sorry, guys, but I think old fartdom has finally caught up with me.
Is there anything on Reaper Radio that doesnt sound like a bunch of warthogs throwing up to the accompaniment of over-cranked distorted guitar?

I listened to as much as I could of about six tracks and finally my ears started wrapping themselves over the actual hole leading to my ear canals.

Does anything in this sort of grunge/screamo/tune down to Bb genre actually sell at all?
Or is it all for fun?

My profuse apologies if I offend anyone by writing this, but I just had to say something.

It would be good if the Forums had a "REAPER FM is UP" indicator. Most of the time when I try to connect I get

"Unable to open item for playback (Service Unavailable (401)):

Will it be ok to put up a link to REAPER Radio on Ninjamers?
And have you thought about taking the Radio into video too, onto maybe livestream or similar, or maybe do some Live Shows on NINJAM TV?

what people could do is record a short bit of audio for each song they submit explaining how they mixed it and all that jazz. this way you would find some very interesting ideas from all kinds of different people.

Having trouble with winamp. The stream keeps coming in for a few secs, then buffering for a few secs. Very annoying. Wonder if there's a way i can fix this. Will check out Winamp forums
