Apply FX to items as a new take - only to wav?

Is there a way to apply FX to item as a new take and get output in some other format like ogg?

Maybe if you changed the default recording format in the project settings dialog (audio settings tab) it might work? I'll leave you to do the experiment as I don't use this feature.

Bummer. I use Wavpack for everything and if I did use this feature, it would be Wavpack that I'd want the file in.

Hey,

Yes you can change it so you can apply FX to item as a new take to ogg.

As said change the default output in project settings to ogg. And there is a checkbox that needs to unchecked. i am sorry I cant be more specific I'm not on my home computer.

It can be done though
