FR: Better tempo tap accuracy

I'm not sure how the Reaper algoritme works, but it could be more accurate.
I mostly now use this website because it's way more accurate.

Could we have a setting for the duration of the tempo tap reset?

I could be way wrong here, but I suspect that the errant tap tempo is due to calculating on mouse click release instead of on initial click. In other words, it seems to me that it is counting on up motion of mouse click instead of down motion.

I've always thought the tap was off when using a mouse. I just always assumed it was my own lackadaisical timing.
