Default Hangs

When Reaper hangs and I am forced to close it what else can I do to find the problem ? Event View / Applications only says:

The program reaper.exe version 78.240.134.214 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed

open task manager, go to reaper.exe, right click, choose "create dump file". find the file it creates, zip it (it will be large but will compress very well!), upload it somewhere, and email a link to that to support at cockos dot com. thanks!

Is there anything I can do if Reaper just goes POOF and doesn't actually hang ? That happens to me too.

Yep -- there's an option in the installer to have it create a dump file for those cases, then the file will end up in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps
