Default Reaper Linux

Hello, I've switched back to Linux and there are a couple of things that I found different, but the hardware integration doesn't work properly
I have a behringer x touch one and it just barely works. It's there something like CSI on windows so I could have something working like jog wheel or even just track clocking the device would follow on where I am? I can't bind anything on buttons too.
It was working perfect on windows so I know how to set it up
Couple more things that seem to behave differently, like sidechain compression (IE bass driving on kick with reacomp just turn off the bass and let the kick thru) or even action keybinfings not working.
So I was wondering if it Linux related? Are theyb different 6.75 versions? Does anyone managed to set up this bloody behringer thing on Linux?

Welcome! I use Reaper on Ubuntu.

When asking questions about troubleshooting, it's really helpful to say:
- What flavor of Linux: (Manjaro, Ubuntu, etc.)
- What *version*
- Hardware: CPU/RAM/Video Card
- Version of Reaper
All of that info makes it easier for people to help you.

There is a forum specifically for Linux (near the bottom of the main forums page).

Also, in that Reaper for Linux forum is a thread about ReaLearn:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=266954
which might be what you are looking for.
Edit: make sure you read all of the posts in that thread.

As to the sidechain compression issue, that is definitely *not* Linux related. I do sidechain compression all the time.

Lets continue this discussion in the Linux forum.

See you there!

Is CSI not available for Linux ? (In fact an issue with Linux might be the availability of "native" add-ons, extensions and plugins).
If course using a surface device with or without CSI is a very different experience.
I suppose ReaLearn is available for Linux. Same might help.

(BTW.: there is a subforum dedicated for Reaper on Linux and yet another one dedicated to Control Surface issues.)
