Default If I insert dozens of images, how can I change the predefined length of an image?

If I insert dozens of images, how can I change the predefined (frame) length of an image?

Supposing you are trying to do a diaporama that doesn't "jump around"
1) set the project video dimensions in the project settings (video tab, typically 128x720 or 1920x1080)
2) on each item (shift+e), not the track, add "Basic helper: resize to project dimensions" that should do it
