Default Script to move play cursor in midi editor to selected note

Hi, is there a script for the midi editor that can move the play cursor to the start of the selected midi note? I have a custom action for the arrange window that selects the item under mouse cursor and moves the play head to the start of the item. I'd like to replicate that for notes in the midi editor.

Thanks.

Found the action "move edit cursor to start of selected events". Ok, didn't know notes were called events. That helps.

But I'm having trouble finding a script that selects the note (event) under mouse cursor....

Ok, found lokasenna's select note and note row under mouse.

How can I mouse over a note and select it if I have multiple midi items open in one editor?

Usually you select by double click, but that depends on your mouse modifiers configuration.

If it's not possible to select the event under mouse, is it possible to simulate a double click, thereby selecting the event under mouse and having the track editable?
