Default MIDI export mysteries

Greetings!

I have Roland SD35 MIDI file player which has been my accompanist for many years. I am experiencing some strangeness with some REAPER exported MIDI files. These are Type 1 or Type 0 files-- either of which the machine can read, however, the machine reports "noP" which means basically that no recognizable data is contained in the file. I suspect a timebase mismatch.

The files play as expected in QuickTime, REAPER, Finale, etc.

SO-- how do I change the timebase in REAPER? Ideally to 96ppqn.

Any help appreciated.

Default Mystery solved

I've solved it. My many, many MIDI accompaniment files were generated by the Passport Encore notation application. Importing the misbehaving MIDI file(s) into Encore and re-exporting as MIDI sorted the issue.

Just happy that Encore still works. I think it was EOL long ago.

Now, back to Herr Mozart...

It'd be interesting to see the difference between the REAPER files and the re-exported files, at least for me, out of curiosity.
