MacOS alias directories not handled correctly

I have a USB drive plugged into my WIFI router that I would like to be able to store my samples and my JSFX and access them from both my mac and PC. However, on Mac (High Sierra 10.13.6) I'm running into issues with alias (symlinked) folders. The following applies for both networked and local folders:


Symlinked folders do not show up in the Media Explorer:



Symlinked folders are treated as files by the FX browser:


(not shown: adding text in the IDE and saving -> overwrites the directory with a file of the same name)

Want to bump this because this is a bug workflow killer. Wish the browser would get some update love.
