Operations on velocity
Hi there! I'm looking for a convenient way to control velocity of already recorded signal. In Pro Tools (I can't believe I'm raising this argument, but here it goes anyway) there is a menu that gives me everything I need (picture attached). In Reaper there are 2 ways I know of. Either to manually tuck the highest and the lowest velocity values (works kind of like brick wall limiter for velocity) or to use a JS plugin. I don't really like to work with a plugin because I cannot apply it easily on selected notes and to actually see what it does I have to commit and then eventually go back and forth. I'd really like to see a menu like there is for time quantisation, but for velocity. Is there something like this built in already? Maybe I'm missing something? Or maybe this post will inspire someone to develop a tool like the one in Pro Tools. Cheers!
