Can we please leave the creation of these threads to the people who know how to embed and color code the changelog? It is a bit annoying to not see it clearly in the first post and have to scroll.

Scrolling a whole extra 3 posts? That's ridiculous? I guess I have to recalibrate my thinking about what an over reaction is...

Well since the above is an under-reaction, then yes, you probably need to recalibrate. This has been politely asked several times before. If all you are going to do is post "New RC up..." then kindly refrain and wait until someone formats a post with actual information. Instead of forcing others to clean up your useless post.
K thanks bye...

I agree, but that reaction is hardly a hill I'd want to die on. I'd hate to see what someone could do to really piss everyone off. I guess the "Reaper forums are full of nice helpful people" reputation only applies to the main forum. The Pre-Release folks are wound a bit tighter.

Or needlessly prodded. Pre-release "folks" are here to discuss and test pre-releases, not sift through crap.

The thing is, this thread is for discussing features and fixes of the current dev/pre release. If you omit the most important part (the changelog) then it makes it way harder to refer to the them. Planetnine has been asked several times to post the changelog, but he simply doesn't care (can't be bothered, browsing via phone...).
So this is not coming from nowhere...

Very well putted stevie. thanks for underlying the problem without getting near edgy words and sentences. Hope planetnine start using the tool xraym putted the effort to make to us all and help a lot organizing stuff.
Anyway any though in rc2?

Apologies for my unnecessary OT, but
PL9 has posted the changelogs earlier, but it seemed some have gotten so used to X-Raym's Reaper ChangeLog to BBCode, they apparently felt regular text format was inappropriate. Now that he's still kind enough to at least post a headsup and leave the formatting to others willing to do so, that's not good either?
There is no enforced rule for how to format release topic openings, just a habit taken by many posters to use X-Raym's tool. Surely that formatting helps to read the changelogs, but people on this side should surely be able to manage even without or do that by themselves like Yanick kindly did here.
If consensus here is for tighter formatting rule in these topics, surely it applies even more so to official releases in general forum. What good does the following do in many of those topics;

But what use does it have to create such a thread with no changelog? There are many people eager to post these threads so just wait a few minutes and someone else will post it, maybe even formatted with X-Raym’s tool so that it is easier to read. I am not saying it is the end of the world but do we really need to make things less convenient than they could be for no reason at all?

No ones mentioning how just talking about the non existing formatting actually created more noise to which you have to scroll through, making it worse haha
This included.

I agree with you and I totally get your point....
I'm just not really irked by it, and I don't think there's really any way to prevent it.
