I didn't look at how he achieves this, maybe it's not completely optimal in some technical sense, but at least it makes reaper workable for me without windows magnifier.

I installed it some time ago but it doesn't work for me.

I just installed it - follow the instructions i the txt-file (put the dll in the app-folder). Seemed to work fine for me, on W10/64

+1 from me!
Font sizes are handled very poorly by developers.
My FR is similar, but aims more at changing sizes dynamically. My goal here is to change sizes globally or very selectively with the click of a button, like "Increase font size by 1" or "Decrease font size by 1".
Please support as well!

I have increased the font size of the mcp insert/send/knob area as the sole modification of the default theme. It helped me a great deal on my 1440p 27 inch display.
Any improvements letting the user control the font sizes more easily is most welcome. I would increase the font size used in the fx browser immediately. Quite a bit of trial and error involved to even try and see if it‘s possible right now.
Perhaps expand the theme adjuster to that effect ?

BUMP!
I came across this forum thread and I can´t stress enough how important it is for me to be able to make the font bigger. I am literally loosing my sight here when reading FX browser or basically anything in Reaper...

Reaper translated into my country's language looks downgraded in appearance.
I really need to change the font.

Please make this bigger or adjustable because it is really too tiny in 4K.

I'd rather add it as an independent FR.

A bump and a +1 from me too.
It's not just the font size (which is actually pretty consistent with the other DAWs I have, at least in the FX browser), but also the font face, and the vertical spacing.
From left to right, the first three are Bitwig, Cubase, Reaper
The bonus image on the far right is Reaper's routing matrix, which has better vertical spacing than the browser, but has a smaller font
Of those, I find Bitwig's easiest to read.
I'm sure that as soon as Justin or Schwa start to need reading glasses, this will get some love... but hopefully they can make some improvements before then.

+1 here for both font size AND style (also good point Robu, above, re. vertical spacing). For me it's the only lingering interface negative with Reaper, it just doesn't look right/serve well in the 2020s

Some may be able to read serifed fonts better, others need bold, others prefer monotyped fonts who are better to read for small letters like in words like "ill".

I really need bigger fonts in the FX browser too. I'm sitting 2.5m back from a 55" 4k TV with 225% windows 11 scaling, and these 49 year old eyes are really struggling!

I hear you! Younger people struggle to understand the problems we face with our eyes as we age. Someone I know has just started struggling and now they say "OMG I totally get where you are coming from!"

Not to mention different applications. When I have three or four people surrounding the monitor it forces me to be back from the monitor but I still have to operate it. For 27-in monitor I really need fonts to kick up in size.

Older eyes with a 4k screen makes for itty bitty fonts.
Please give us a way to scale things up that works in everywhere.
Thanks.

+1.
I want to point out that this is already possible in the Linux version via editing a line in a text file. On Windows the text size in some dialog boxes such as FX cannot be changed. This is because windows itself doesn't allow you to change the text size for this type of boxes. So if Reaper could "break free" or be hacked free from following the Windows setting (which has already been proven possible by NucleoxMusic and Analogue Dessert, perhaps the devs should look at how they achieved it), it would make life so much easier for all of us including old people, people with visual disabilities, users with small screens.

We may have to wait until the devs get older and start having eye problems ;-)
