Default Something Dark is Coming

This is my cover version of the Bear McCreary's "Something Dark is Coming", from the BSG series. My Chapman Stick arrangement is based on his piano arrangement.

This isn't something that has been mixed in any significant sense, it's more of a video recording:

I recorded the dry Stick signal to Reaper, through Helix Native and routed out to OBS, where I recorded the video at the same time.
Later I lined up the video in Reaper added fades and rendered it out.
Since I have the dry Stick, I could have changed the sound afterwards, but I didn't bother in the end.

Pretty compelling and different! I really enjoyed the sound you got - it works very well. Nice work!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

Have you heard the orignal in context too - watched the show?

No, I haven’t - where would I find that?

I think it's was on SyFy. I can't watch myself, since I'm not in the USA.
I watched it over 10 years ago when it was on locally.

Oh, I'm not in the USA either, so I guess that's why I've never encountered it.

Really enjoyed this interpretation and video. I'm not familiar with the original, so I listened without reference. Always amazed by the depth and breadth of your talent!

Wonderful version! I really enjoyed it! It's
interesting how you play the chapmann stick,
it's also great to see.

Thanks Steve and Andy!

I don't know about talent, but lots of sweat has gone into it, especially with current weather.

Luckily no blood or tears...
