Landing on bars with jog / scrub wheel MCU

If anyone has an insight or even better a solution for the following it would be greatly appreciated:

When controlling Reaper with the jog wheel of my MCU Pro I’m not always able to land the cursor exactly on the start of bars.

It seems tempo related. In a project with a bpm of 120 I can land the cursor with the jogwheel on the start of bars without any issue, however, when setting the bpm to 131, the cursor won’t land exactly on bars anymore.

I’m on a Mac. I’ve tried Reapers own Mackie Control support and also DrivenByMoss4Reaper. Reapers own Mackie Control is more stable and predictable for me so it would be great to find a solution there.
