Rockin with Morgon and Msundh
Kinda rockish, kinda punkish. I felt I needed two lead guitars for this one since it's mostly instrumental with a few vocals. I wanted to go all Reaper and asked Morgon man Msundh if they could throw in a note or two. They both agreed, so I have them alternating on the leads starting with Morgon. How's the mix holding with all these damn guitars?
Morgon: first alternating lead
Msundh: second...
ME: on bass and rhythm guitars

I can't say anything about the mix as I was fixated on the guitar playing. What a great listen.

Kinda crazyish
Damn hard to the into this song. Not my comfort zone this either
But fun doing it.
regarding the mix I think the 'tail' of the two first solos interfere with vocals to much.Fade back in the room?

I know. Both guys came through for me and not half-assed at that. I was quite happy with the tracks they sent.

I liked those tails so much I just couldn't cut them. But yeah, a fade could be a compromise. Thanks for doing it despite the 'non-comfort.' That buzzy guitar is bad ass.

Almost feels like a Captain Beefheart or Tom Waits track, very raw and bluesy. I'd like to see this band live. Lots of energy, and I'd swear you were all in the same room at the same time. That's the kind of vibe and energy I'd love my own music to have.
I want to hear more in this style. Get it up on Bandcamp or YouTube fast.

Well done Sammy. I like the sound shift at 2.18 - 19 but a couple of my notes went missing right there at that transition moment [2.18 to 2-19] I'm guessing the file was split to process on another track or the delay fx might have caused it? If it's a fade [ or an auto fade from splitting the file?] , well okay, but I think it would be fine having an abrupt transition there with the notes still audible. A minor thing, maybe it's just bc I expect to hear it [from memory] haha
Anyways, cheers, there's always a really good feel to your tracks.

I think over the past couple of years, that's about the third time I've heard Cap Beefheart mentioned. I think we have a similar "growl." Appreciate it X.

I'll check it later this eve and bring it back and try to fade/blend better. Should take five minutes, so no prob.
Thanks for giving me your time. You guys MADE this song.

Sammy's too kind crediting everyone else; the rhythm section, wandering bass line/riff and fine vocals always make me wanna play. The fine vocals were not on the project file I worked with, but I knew they were coming.

I got a rare moment alone and went with it. Thx Morg.
I just replaced the original with the new fixed tail file. Don't know why I missed that in the first place.
