Default Recording. Beep before recording.

When Аrmied one or more channels, after press the Record button, I want to hear a beep sound before the crossbar movement. Signal customizable by user, duration and frequency. To attract the attention of musicians in the recording room in the Studio. For convenience, this function can be placed in the metronome settings window.

Just enable the metronome or add click waveforms to your own click track. That will get their attention and they might even start on the beat. You can even make the first wav a big fog horn sound to get their attention.

Maybe we don't quite understand each other. I will try to explain.
After pressing the Record button, there is a long beep (for example, duration of 1 second and at a frequency of 20 kHz), after which the movement of the crossbar and the execution of all other functions begins.

At the same time, no metronome functions change. If the metronome was turned on at the time of activation of the "Beep" function, then the metronome begins to click after the Beep signal, with the start of the crossbar movement.

That's really weird. So when you start with a blank project and Arm a track and press record you get a beep?

To be clear, you are getting a beep that you do not want. Your OP said you wanted a beep. First reinstall Reaper. Second, are you running some software that beeps until you buy it like:

https://www.usb-audio.com/download/

At first it will run in demo mode and "beep" every 30 seconds. On buying it you'll get a personal unlock-key that turns it into a full version for Windows or a replacement driver for Mac respectively.

We encourage you to install the driver and have a try before you order.

You totally misunderstood my idea.

The main task is to - Attract the musicians ' attention to the recording.
This feature is very necessary. I always Have to speak into the microphone to the musicians about the start of the recording of take/

I already told you to use the click track. If they don't know what a click is then they are not musicians. Make it 16 bars if needed to give them plenty of time. I usually do 8. This is easily set in the metronome settings.

1 - not always musicians play under click.
2 - after a long beep the musician will definitely hear the first click.
I am a practicing recording engineer. this is a very useful feature.

Reaper doesn't have that feature. You don't have to play under a click. You can set the metronome to only play during the count in before recording for as little as 1 measure. Or just get an airhorn and blast it at them to wake them up.

I know that Reaper doesn't have this feature. I wrote to the developers about adding this feature. It is the function of "horn shooting at musicians to Wake up."

1) Create a track with RS5k instance
2) put a beep as a sample at note 0 (Mode: sample, ignores MIDI note)
3) set monitor input on, arm track, set input to virtual keyboard, recording off
4) make a script triggering note on for note 0 like
Code:
reaper.StuffMIDIMessage( 0, 0x90, 0, 127)
5) make a custom action contain script and Transport: Record action

not reliable ? why ? Since your request is something nobody else likely wants this IS probably your best option.

And: You only have to create this custom-action one time -
and thereafter you can forget it.

More reliability, simplicity and elegance is not possible.

If this is possible? Describe in more detail the algorithm and sequence of actions.
how to make a delay in the script while playing the beep and before starting the next action.
And whether direct in Rescript to specify the path to the file playback beep?
I'm not good at scripts.
