27 minute orchestral rock ballad
I've been working on a new song for a while. 'Amorphous' is my solo project, where I create some progressive rock songs with different instruments (real & midi).
Here is my new song, a 27 minute orchestral rock ballad. I recomment using headphones!

i wish I had that talent!
care to explain a little bit about the process ? like, did you attack each part like a different song or as a whole ? what is your recording gear ? etc.

Cool. I love this kind of stuff. It takes you on a journey, and to me, that's what music is about - transporting you somewhere, on an adventure, where you think you know where you're going, but there's always little twists and turns in the road that bring you somewhere else. And you end up having a better time than you thought.

Nice! It has many different styles, well orchestrated, and well played. You have an amazing amount of talent between your ears and in your hands.

Man, I haven't heard or experienced something this good in a while. The way you made it and presented it just inspired-me a lot. Thank you for doing it

And I'm sitting here on a stack of unfinished 1-minuters.

Very engaging composition, and supremely well realised, with all that is entailed from performance through to mixing.

Well done.27 min is a lot to ask from a modern audience however. Be good if there were some vocals.I remember The Alan Parsons project The tales of Mystery and Imagination from many years ago.I really liked that album.
It would be that sort of thing your music would fit well to.

This is not bad...not bad at all!
I listened the whole way through. All sorts of themes and styles rampant here. Sounds of 70s/80s progressive rock interlaced with at times gorgeous orchestral atmospherics.
How did you record this? Equipment used etc if you don't mind telling us.
Do you work in film/TV or in a band? The themes here could fit many cinematic moments.
Regardless which, I'd say you will make a good living at this.
This work sounds like an exposition of many styles. There is enough material here for several operatic/cinematic/concept works. In fact you have let so much out of your armory that I'm almost dizzy coming to terms with it all.
I would say that you could take some of the themes, one at a time and build them as stand-alone cohesive works. At the moment "The Ballad of the Silent Stone" is to my ear more of a temptation/indication of things to come, and good things too!
I'll be looking out for you.
Enjoy.
