Jump to Marker 'XX' with no hassle

atm if you want to use markers over 10 you have to assign 11,12,13... individually.

I would be very happy if we had a script/macros/ or any other option to jump >10 with just a simple shortcut combination.


Example: *(on the numpad) + XX

The challenge that I see from the programmer(s) perspective would probably be to find that 'golden' balance of how much time you would give user to input marker number.

So when you press * (or any other combination) and then ---> wait time for receiving #.

The more or less 'inelegant' way to solve this issue is to check how many markers were created.... if there is XX then wait time would be 2 sec if XXX then 3 sec....

or just force user to hold the combination ( in our example * on numpad) and
while it's held type # of marker.

Anyway, Devs, if possible, please introduce this small, but very neat feature

I would love writing music over assigning 20+ shortcuts for each individual marker =P

with the jump to window you type m then marker number or r then region number and enter

in use that's cmd-J, m12, enter

that's pretty fast

but someone did write something pretty close to your suggested workflow in this thread

Yeah. I actually have this set up already.

For 11-19 I programmed CMD + 0 (for 10), CMD + 1 (for 11) etc. through 19.

Then 20-29 is CMD + OPTION + 0 (for 20), CMD + OPTION +1 (for 21) etc. through 29

I don't think I went over 30 yet, and

It's a little extra work but once it's done it's a nice time saver.

I would really love to see script/plugin written by gomadare being included natively.... it just make seance to have it.... instead of assigning over 20 shortcuts....


tho, as I've mentioned above.... the challenge of wait time.... rn gomadare's plugin is taking too much time for the input
