Automation thinning - smooth right angles

This request would be for an option in the "reduce number of points" that targets right angles first, in order to smooth them out.

I do 99% of my work in sound design, and love Reaper's automation features, especially automation items. Using all these methods, I wind up with lots of right angles and automation points that jump this way. No DAW I've seen has an automation thinning that will smooth out right angles, including Reaper's reduce points. In fact right angles are the last thing to thin typically.

I run across this all the time and its always a manual process to remove right angles.
