If you need to translate session files from other DAW software that supports aes-31 or open-tl, then it is quite eassy i've just found to get those sessions directly into reaper.
Try EDL translate (free) from
http://www.ap-sound.de/downloads.htm
It will read AES-31, CMX, open-tl, etc from other applications like Nuendo and spurt out either a vegas or samplitude format session file, which you can then easily import into reaper.
