So a big thank you from all reaperites who'll use your your presets. Do you know if this has been requested yet? If so, where can I vote?
Danni, yes, I mean this footage. I've already bought pop-corn and sodas, so please do as fast as you can!
By the way, how do others users put multiple quote in their posts?
Cheers!

I put a feature request for fxb/fxp preset converter in here, but bundled it with one for preset manager too which already was submitted so got lost a bit unfortunately..
To do multiple quotes, there's a button lower right, hit that for each post.

That issue is considered closed, and the links you can find there lead to requests much more complicated than a simple presets batch-convert utility...
Ooops, we're slightly off topic now (this new great reverb...). But if this feature isn't requested anywhere, maybe it would be time to do it. Just wanna be sure..

I still haven't received the footage from my previous presentation yet. As mentioned, my next presentation is this Tuesday. It will probably be at least a couple of weeks until I receive the footage from that presentation.
You might want to keep the popcorn sealed until then!!!!
....and yes, this is an AWESOME reverb plugin. It has now quickly become my default.

Likewise. I am finding so many different uses for this verb. And it sits so well in the mix! Also, have you tried Shimmer? Quite nice as well!

I have the demo of Shimmer. I might well make a purchase on that too. But, for the moment, my bank account is bare and food is more important!!

I guess it would depend on how our mixes tasted!!!
Producer - "Lower the threshold on that L2 on the master buss some more."
Engineer - "Yeck!! That tastes like ammonia!!"

We could solve the loudness war this way VERY quickly!!! If people had to TASTE hyper compression they'd pretty quickly vomit!

If they could taste it then we would also have many producers with "eating" disorders.....

Sad but true. It's time to put them on a strict diet of nutritious dynamics spiced with the flavors of subtle tones.

The general population could do with a healthy dose of the same! At present, they are spoon fed McMusic and it has caused a massive outbreak of aural malnutrition.
The 'SuperSize Me' of the music industry, if you will.

Heh or as I like to refer to it: "McBrickin'"
(p.s. This reverb is on my to-try list. I've heard great things so far! Not only here, but on other forums as well.)

I tried the demo for maybe 15 minutes and purchased right away! The newest update has fixed all of the crashes on my system. For $50.00, this verb is a STEAL. I would pay more for this one and am sorry I paid for a few others (no names mentioned). And again, his Shimmer verb is also amazing.

I spent about 1.5 hours figuring out how this verb works. The Early reflection treatment is very cool. Powerful algos that are easy to tweak.

after filling out your survey on your website, I ended on a 404 page after sending it. you might wanna look into that.
I bought the plugin after some demoing. I have RP-Verb as well, which sounds phantastic, but it has so many features and sometimes a little too much character.
ValhallaRoom seems to sound phantastic and I found it more easy to use as it isn't all that complex. Had nice results on my synth bus with it. I will try it on vocals soon as I am in the process of mixing two songs of our band.

@ Sean Costello. Do you have any suggestions on how to use VRoom in the context of MIDI orchestral mixes? I generally mix to stems (strings, woodwinds, brass, perc). In the past I used four separate ER-only reverbs as inserts for each stem (tweaked slightly differently to emulate the proper hall distance) and a single "tail only" reverb on the master.
I suppose I could also just use 4 different inserts on the stems.
Any input here would be appreciated.
Thanks,
J

I just bought ValhallaRoom after 5 minutes of demoing, this baby is a beautiful thing! Situations that were difficult to me reverbwise seem so much easier now. I already loved EOS and the fact that it felt much more "alive" than impulses, but VR manages to do those difficult ambiences and realistic spaces even better. Even my bassy vocals don't sound muddy with it, and that's something And my room, even though it is treated is very small, so I really need ambience for percussions and such. With EOS and VR I think my reverb situation is solved. Thank you, Sean!!
And to think that I've just scratched the surface here, man. Tweakability AND great sound, match made in heaven!
Now the only thing is not to go overboard with it I begin to understand how they felt in the 80s...

Last night, I did a recording session with a friend of mine who is a really good sax player. He laid down some very cool sax parts for my new song 'Narrow is the Way' and I used VR as the reverb on this mix and it sounds absolutely gorgeous!!
This is the first large mix I've done with this reverb and I'll be updating my topic with the new mix once I've done some more tweaks.

Hi guys. here are some more presets for Vroom. Just copy the text, including the "< >"'s. Open Vroom and in the preset browser click where it says "paste from clipboard" and the preset is copied into Vroom.
Then name and save the preset and your done. These are presets made on a Mac but Vroom lets you paste these preset texts into a PC!
These are from the GS forum.

henge, thanks for your presets
I have been using ValhallaRoom on Vocals now with really satisfing results.
The other bandmembers liked it as well.
Apart from the great sound, I like the usability.
I like the text-based presets, the 'hints', the whole preset browser and the very functional GUI.
I think I finally found the Reverb that completes my plugin setup, yeah

To be clear these are not my presets. They're posted on the gearslutz forum, mostly by a guy called Den.
