Alesis Multimix 16 USB 2.0 starting to have issues
Alesis MultiMix 16 USB 2.0. Purchased in 2012. Windows 7/64
Inputs: 18. Outputs: 2 / Clock Rate: 44.1k / Word Length: 24
Firmware Version: 1.1.0(k4) / Driver 2.9.64
Set at 192 Samples = 5.9ms / 20.1ms
in the last few weeks, odd things are happening on playback. REAPER playback, YouTube, WinAmp, VLC (audio or video)
Quick Dropouts.
Fuzzy clicking.
So, I turn off the Alesis and the problem goes away. But I never know when it will happen again. 10 minutes, 2 hours, always random.
Any clues / tricks how to resolve, or is this a sign it's time for a new audio interface ?
