Default Phonic Firefly 808 Universal NO MIDI-Input

hi ...

reaper (4.77 / x86) sees phonic (connected by usb) as audio interface,
but its' midi-in-port is not listed in reapers' midi-devices-list ...

its' midi-out-port is detected, though ... so what's going on in here ?

just installed reaper on a hp pavillion a309 / windows 7 32bit .

didn't restart the pc after installing the audio-hw (firefly 808 Universal)...
for the os didn't ask for it ...

... any clues ... ?

3 years ago I know, but I thought I'd chime in and see if anyone has a solution.

Basically, the Firefly 808U is just fine except that using the latest (2013?) v6.11.0 drivers the midi in is disabled. Midi out seems to work normally.

Rolling back to the v5.22.1 drivers 'solves' this issue.

If anyone has a workaround I'd be pleased to hear about it ... in fact I'm about to simply use a midisport for the midi side and test out the 6.11.0 drivers to see if there is any noticeable effect.
