Buggette - move cursor with arrow keys (causing scrubbing). Then get hold of cursor top and drag - scrubbing happens but cursor stays still.

Thanks Justin! That works really well for deselecting envelopes and items alike...cheers.

Perfect for me! I leave it off, and hold shift or ctrl/shift to engage scrub and jog functions, and my selection-on-items macro works fine. The middle mouse button is really handy for placing the cursor now, disregarding snap and item/track selection.

You may get some complaints once released about an option to disable the middle mouse button from scrub...pretty sure there's some users who use it for navigating, plus at least one guy who uses it in a script to auto-arm vstis.

No complaints from me though, it's a great solution here!

I feel perhaps these are too close to the left-top corner of an item, that's a fairly common place to create an automation node (for me) seeing as the item's start point is there, and also that's where the envelopes are when first enabled (along the top).

So I'd suggest down a little to the right a bit, if there's room on the item.

Apart from that, they are a good size...nice!

Confirmed. (I don't use the arrow keys like that, just checking)

Ahh, if you hold shift FIRST before clicking, you get the old behaviour...so disregard. It's in there!

wondering if there will be a sample+hold waveform in the parameter modulation thing...? there's a "random" waveform, which is nice, but that fades up and down to random values instead of a sample+hold, which, well, samples and holds, you know... haha.
