Default Snap items end-to-end (missing feature)

I have ironed out some other problems with the program so far, but this one feature is quite annoyingly missing from this program, compared to the silly freeware Audacity.

After sifting through my recorded material I am left with a lot of empty spaces inbetween my items, as demonstrated in the attached pictures - and no easy way of getting rid of them. In Audacity there is a simple 'align' command doing just that. I have browsed through Reaper's action list (which I have used recently to some otherwise very satisfying effect, chaining up commands in handy ways) time and again, failing to find any command solution to my problem.

Manual snapping of the items is, of course, possible - but when I'm faced with the prospect of having to do it 100+ times, each time carefully selecting with [shift] all items to the right, it quickly takes shape of a potential nightmare.

By this point, even being able to one-key select all items to the right (ahead of) given item would be of help. (EDIT: this is organizable via the steps described in https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=63792 , so this part of my question-thread has already been answered >.<; )

Install SWS extensions if you haven't already.

http://www.sws-extension.org/

Run action: "Xenakios/SWS: Reposition selected items...".
In the dialog box that comes up select "Item end" and set "Time intervall" to 0.

This will accomplish what you want.

Sad thing? I literally looked at that option box for a passing moment, dismissing it as probably not solving my issue.

I'm a derp, yes.

Thank you, kind sir >.<;
