Reaper RULEZ!

I'm a newbie too and finally proud to own
a license. Forget Prolltools, forget Kuhbäse,
forget Lo6ic, REAPER is the much stronger dark side
of the force!

I absolutely agree. In my opinion,as soon as media bin feature is added (same as you may have seen in Vegas or Acid..) Reaper will be a flawless and a perfect all-in-one software for pro-audio users.

Default and hello from here

I've been using Reaper for over a month now. I used to record in Audition. I remember cubase meaning fun in my atari hardware-days, I got bored with acid (the software!!!), tried samplitude for 3 days, audacity wasn't really convincing to me...

The positive review in soundonsound seduced me. And guess what. Reaper supports my workflow, didn't crash once and I'm still trippin' on one thing: usb! Revolutionary; Nice.

I was a long time Cubase SX user, since V1. Switched to Reaper about a month ago. I'm virtually up to speed with it now.

I would like to personally thank the dedicated team behind Cubase for teaching me everything I need to know about DAW software..... THE HARD WAY!!!

I've had sooo many problems with it. everything from MIDI timing, ASIO problems, plugin incompatabity probs, control surface issues with the Houston, the famous release that was full of bugs and withdrawn after a period of days, releases promised which were never released, etc.

Reaper, on the other hand, is now more stable than any DAW software I have ever used, IMHO better than Protools, Cubase, Logic.

I love Reaper. Love Love Love.
