Default LV2 Plugins with wdl-ol

Hello !

One of my friends is asking if I could provide a version of my plugins in LV2 format. I haven't found reference to this format in association with wdl. Has anyone done such a thing, and could provide some help to get started ?

I guess the DAWs that use LV2 format run under Linux, but it seems that Ardour can load LV2 plugin on any platform, including OSX on which I'm working.

Anyway, any suggestion (beyond "don't do that" :-) will be appreciated !

Thanks !

Jack.

You would need to write a complete LV2 plugin implementation for IPlug...(Unless someone has done that already and is willing to share.)

Yes, Xenakios, you're right, and that's what I'm afraid of.

The Linux port of REAPER (in http://landoleet.org/dev/ ) provides no support for plugins (except JSFX and their own VSTs), so implementing LV2 support in REAPER and wdl doesn't look like a priority...

Note that even if Cockos implemented LV2 plugins for Reaper, that wouldn't necessarily be anything that would appear in WDL too. (The official WDL doesn't have IPlug at all anymore.)
