Default Quick Question.......

It seems that most people here know one another, and that they are Vegas users (never used it).....am I missing something? Or did I stumble on to a private board? Don't want to intrude or anything......

Still......either way......a great program so far.......

We Vegans stumbled in here the same way you did. What app do you use mostly?

Hey pipelineaudio,
After trying all sorts of "high end" stuff I have settled on the following...

Cool Edit Pro 2.1 for creating my drum tracks out of Beta Monkey loops.

The Kristal Audio Engine for all my other recording needs.

I use the Kjaerhus Audio Classic series, Digital Fish Phones, Anwida and Glace Reverbs, and other free effects.

Sound Engine Free is my editor (tho it hasn't been upgraded since like 2003) and Soundforge6

I also use Beatcraft From Acoustica. I used their Mixcraft for a few but it sometimes didn't open my VST's and DX effects fully (presets not listed or just up and disappear, up and close down in the middle of doing something, etc.)

I think I found this site thru ether the Mandolin Cafe or the Steel Guitar Forum, but either way I am glad I did. This looks like something that is as easy to use as Kristal, but with a lot more flexibility. I am a 35 year pro musician that has had to leave the drumming world due to health reasons, so I am now a home musician on a limited budget that uses what he can find out there in Cyber Space.

This looks great and I am hoping the final is not to much $ so I can keep using it, but I have invested a lot of $$ in the past, so I guess a few more bucks won't hurt at this point!.

And Thank You for the Welcome Justin

Great Work, Keep It Up!
