"ASCEND" Reaper Theme *WIP*
This is a Neve console inspired theme I am working on. It's still very early for the theme!
Based off of Neve Genesys Black Console

I still have a ton of work to do on this one, I will be adding multiple layouts both mcp and tcp, as well as re-doing some of the MCP elements which in my opinion need some polishing up.
I'll be posting updates on this one as I work on it for you guys to check out and give feedback on!

Looks very nice, although I would prefer green color for low output values and only orange and red for high or too high values. And I am curious of the meaning of the red dotted stripes on channels 2,4,5 and 6?

The red meters are based off of the Genesys neve console which is something I'm not used to seeing in reaper themes either but I really like the look of it and wanted to try something new. I will be adding a layout with more traditional colors for the meters (green for the bottom, yellow for the middle and red for the top)
As far as the red dotted stripes they are actually on every fader but they're right underneath the fader so you can't see them when the volume is set to 0dB

Nicely laid out, simple, elegant easy to see and possibly to use.
Have at it...

Thought about where to put the automation mode indicator yet ?
The lower right area of the faders domain might be worth considering. The indicator could be fairly light and small there.

I actually like the unorthodox red meters on this theme. I'm not sure what the logical peak color would be with red on the bottom...

I agree with you 100%, there are still some fonts and buttons I plan on re-doing, the fader is one of them.
and thank you very much I'm glad you like the theme so far

A tip for when you're working with fonts (if you're using Photoshop, could have the same editing options in other programs) is to play around with the font's line height, character width and character spacing to get it looking sharp. It makes fonts much clearer (particularly when using small font sizes) but you have to do it by hand.

Thank you! The Red & Orange meters will be the default look but the green meter layout will be available as an extra mcp layout for the users looking for a more traditional meter.

Thank you very much pinksoir for the tip! Im currently looking for a very good hardware style small font to use but I will definitely be playing around with the different font settings

Well, for example, White Tie used (I'm pretty sure) just Tahoma on Imperial. So a 'hardware' style font can be any font really. It's more a case of getting it sharp and legible at small font settings. It might be a case of getting down and dirty and editing each letter individually to get them as sharp as possible. It looks like he went in and added highlights by hand on the master mixer panels, and that adds to the hardware look.

Are there plans to add a polarity switch?
