Default M-Audio Mobile Pre - ASIO is mangled

My ASIO output for this interface is totally mangled in Reaper, but works in every other program I try it with (samplitude, cubase, sound forge, acid, vegas -- even winamp)

But when I open reaper projects, it goes nuts -- everything is super-high pitched and extremely choppy.

Here are my device and project preferences

Could it possibly be a problem with having certain tracks in the project that are different sample rates? I have the master sample rate set to 48khz, but some of the samples I use are 44.1khz

Default

well, once again, as soon as I posted, I discovered the problem hehe

Turns out I had the two output channels in the audio device preferences box set to the same thing (option 1) - I had to set the first output as option 1 and the last output as option 2 (the only other output) .. then everything worked fine!

Of course, I started getting USB device stop error blue screens this morning ... if it doesn't rain, it freaking pours!
