Session Glitch Help

I've got an old session. (3 versions to be exact) and none of them are working properly. (including backup versions of each) Just to be clear, I've got numerous sessions from the same time-period that I have no issue with.

#1) No sound, even after changing my output selection (since I was using a different AI at the time of their creation) Again, I have no problem with other projects from the same period. (any project, in fact)

#2) I don't even see the track meters displaying info when I hit play. (the playhead/line moves) The one exception is on the latest version I have a guitar solo that displays meter activity...but still no sound.

#3) I've checked the wav files and they play just fine in a media player.

I've been thinking that something got corrupted, but whatever it is, it's affecting all three versions. Clearly, something that I might have done wouldn't affect previous iterations. I know it has to be some kind of setting issue, but I just don't know what it is.

Any help in this matter would be MOST appreciated

Try opening with plugins offline. If that works you know it's a dodgy plugin.

If not then maybe post an rrp for someone else to take a look.

ok...so, turning off all the effects has gotten me somewhere. Things play now. BUt what's weird is that ANY effect I turn on, kills the sound of that track; no matter track, bus, master bus, etc. The remaining tracks play though. What does this mean?
