Default Microphone air noise

Hi all, there's this microphone noise that I've been getting and I'm not sure if its a normal thing to have... thought it was the cable at first but the noise is still there after I changed cable. Any idea what could be causing the noise?

PS. just recording in my bedroom, so no sound proof walls etc

that's the background noise of your ambiance...it's perfectly normal!
if the noise is too much and your recording will be ruined, try to low the input level of the mic and put the mic closer to the sound source (your mouth or rhe instrument you will play)...this way the sound you want to record will be more loud than the background noise.

you can always clear it a bit, take a look to the reafir video by kenny gioia

That noise is not something you should hear from the mic. Can you describe your signal chain, please?

If you are using a condenser mic I have heard similar noise when the fet goes bad.

pretty much its just a condenser mic (Samson C01) connecting to a USB audio Box (PreSonus) with XLR cable. is there anyway to reduce the noise?
