Default using tabs

Can someone help understand the process of using the tabs on the bottom of reaper to have multiple tabs of things like vsti's?

tabs/ I believe you are referring to the docker.

and if so, that holds windows that contain things you were/are working on.

it is merely a way to organize/maximize you screen space, and workflow.

Yup.. what T said.

Display the Docker using Alt-D. Then, right-click somewhere in most Reaper windows, and choose Dock xxx Window in Docker. Very handy for Pref Meter, FX, Navigator, etc.
