Default Jump to Next/Previous Numbered Marker

We have Actions to "Go to" numbered markers 1-30, and we have them for "Jump to Next/Previous Marker or any type", so could we have "Jump to Next/Previous numbered Marker only"?

I use Reaper to add soundtracks to video, and in any 10 minute video there might be 50 key cuts. I can add markers to them, but the *point* of markers is to be able to return to them easily.

Default Go to next marker/project end..?

Yes in timeline order, is this what you want?

Look in the actions list... "Markers: Go to next marker/project end" and "Markers: Go to prev marker/project start" -I think by default they're actually attached to key shortcuts "[" and "]", though I might be wrong.

Hope this is helpful...

That doesn't just find the numbered markers in the timeline - it also finds the start and end of each clip, and each split in each clip.

Unfortunately, I'm using a lot of clips, sometimes several per spoken sentence, so I'm looking for something that'll search more cleanly.

What about using the region-/marker-manager in a separate window? In connection with the key shortcuts planetnine mentioned?

Thanks. It's clunky, but it works.

I think I'll have to set up some macros/scripts. Something like:

- Switch to Region/Marker Manager
- Tab twice to bring list into focus

That's new on me, mine just jumps between project markers (I have it on a jog wheel modifier, too).

Glad I saw this. This is perfect for linear movement, especially when I am rushing, and don't even know what marker I'm at. I made a whole new section and am editing market id numbers so this was why I looked up this command. I'll know how to do it now, thanks!

Sorry to revive an old thread, but the behavior I see for "Markers: To to next marker/project end" is as Kapitano reports (stops at every region/item start/end. I would prefer behavior as planetnine reports (just stopping at numbered markers).

Does anyone know if that's possible?

By default it does jump to Markers or Regions (start/end) and also TimeSelection only. Definitely not to start and/or end of items!

If it does for you then either you have running some script in the background or you have customized/changed some settings in Reaper preferences (but I am not aware of such settings right now from my mind).
