Default Question re JS_Window_SetStyle

When you style a window as a "CHILD" using
Code:
reaper.JS_Window_SetStyle(win,"CHILD")
the behavior on Mac and Windows is apparently totally opposite.

On Mac, the "CHILD" window has a "rect" and "crect" equal to the "crect" of the original window.

On Windows, the "CHILD" window has a "rect" and "crect" equal to the "rect" of the original window.

This is essentially opposite behavior with the same function. Is this the intended behavior? And is anyone aware of this?

I wasn't aware of this exact issue, but we do know that there are unfortunately a few differences between WindowsOS and WDL/swell styles.
