Default Problem with Rex files

Hi there.

Whenever I import a rex file into a project, it never sets the slices up right, and I manually rearrange each slice to line them up. I really don't want to have to do that.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing something essential, or being a bit dim here. Any help?

? It sets the slices up according to the data embedded in the file.

Do you have tempo-matching on / off?

What specific problem are you seeing? Can you post a problem RX2 file as an attachment with a description / screenshots of what should happen when it is loaded?

Okay, so I loaded a rex from the media browser with tempo matching turned on, and that seemed to sort it out.

Thanks!

I always thought that tempo match feature was just for the previewing of files for some reason.

Good oh!

With tempo-matching, Reaper shrinks / expands the RX2 into 2 or 4 bars (or 1?).
